Born in Tolosa/Guipúzcoa in 1945.

Cultural Manager. He has a degree in Marketing Management by the ESMA of Barcelona. From 1975 to 1985 he was Commercial Manager of various printing and writing paper mills.

Founding member and member of the board of the Centro de Iniciativas de Tolosa since 1967. He founded and is today the Co-director of the International Puppetry Festival of Tolosa that has held more than 25 editions. From 1991 to 2001 he was editor of the quarterly magazine Titereando and of the virtual magazine Titirijai-net.

Since 2000, he has been General Secretary of UNIMA (International Puppetry Union). Co-director of the annual exhibition Ventana al Títere de… (A View on Pupettry in …), an event focusing on the art of puppetry in different countries around the world and adviser to UNESCO in the area of Puppet Art for the program Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
