Born in Bath / United Kingdom in 1975.

Exhibition curator and writer. He studied Critical Fine Art Practice (BA Hons) at the University of Brighton (1995–1998) and graduated in the Master of Arts Curating Contemporary Art, Royal College of Art, London (2001–2003).

From 1998 to 2000, he was Associate Publisher of the magazine Contemporary Visual Arts. Curatorial Fellow at the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis (2003-2004) where he assisted in projects with artists including Kiki Smith, Christian Marclay and Thomas Hischhorn. As Assistant Curator of the Director for Special Projects at the Tate Collection, London (2004-2005), he was responsible for several key acquisitions for the permanent collection including pieces by Luciano Fabro, Rodney Graham, Lawrence Weiner and Juan Muñoz.

His articles can be found in publications such as Frieze, Tate Etc., British Birds, Untitled, UOVO and Wonderland. His most relevant publications include: Bits & Pieces Put Together to Present a Semblance of a Whole: Walker Art Center Collections  (2005), Henrik Håkansson (2005), Frieze Art Fair Yearbook (2005–6, 2006–7, 2007–8) and Day for Night: Whitney Biennial 2006 and Life on Mars: 55th Carnegie International (2008).

Since April 2005, he co-directs the independent curators agency Latitudes, together with Mariana Cánepa Luna. Latitudes is member of the Editorial Board of the publishing house The Bookmakers and of the Board of Curators of APT Intelligence.
