Civil servant of the Professional State Museums Curators Body since 1999. She was the director of the Museo del Greco between 2003 and 2007. She is currently the Manager of the Museo del Greco y Sefardí in Toledo and collaborates on the restoration project of the Museo del Greco.
She has previously worked at the Prehistory Department of the Universidad Complutense in Madrid and at the Antiquities Office of the Real Academia de la Historia, and has occupied different positions as head of exhibitions section at the Under-Directorate of Fine Arts Promotion of the Ministry of Culture and head of diffusion service at the Museo Arqueológico of the Autonomous Region of Madrid. She has coordinated numerous catalogues, guides and temporary exhibitions and has written several publications on archaeology, historiography, heritage and museums.
