The State Corporation for Spanish Cultural Action Abroad (SEACEX) acts in collaboration with the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, and the Ministry of Culture as a public agent that promotes current Spanish culture. Its activities correspond to a strategy of international cultural dissemination, a demand for the transmission of knowledge, a reflection of Spain’s potential opportunities and an effort to create a space for all of the driving forces that, in the most diverse environments of knowledge and art, comprise the framework of a modern nation whose plurality is the best part of its identity.
SEACEX’s principle goals are to improve the standing of Spanish culture in foreign countries, increase and consolidate the presence of contemporary Spanish creation in the international market and provide the framework for relationships between creators and professionals, which facilitate the creation of sustainable working networks.
Programmed activities range from historic content, paying special attention to encounters with other cultures, to dialogue with all forms of art, creation and the most provocative and disturbing realities.
